The entrance of this school is a big arch… when you go inside, you will see a big pimpala tree… many batches are seen by this vast tree. Sitting in its huge shade, many children would have waited for their parents, uncles with rickshaws and vans after school. Even today that tree is standing in the same light.
All children gather for the assembly on the ground, a large field behind the school.
Children learn a lot through real experience, action, in school along with studies!
The magnificent building of this school, which is nearing completion, is now attracting attention.
या शाळेचं प्रवेशद्वार म्हणजे एक मोठी कमान… त्यातून आत गेलं की, एक मोठं पिंपळाच झाड… किती तरी बॅचेस या विस्तीर्ण वृक्षानं पाहिल्या असतील. त्याच्या विशाल छायेत बसून कित्येक मुलांनी शाळा सुटल्यावर आपल्या आई-बाबांची, रिक्षा, व्हॅनवाल्या काकांची वाट बघितली असेल. आजही ते झाड तेवढ्याच दिमाखात उभं आहे.
मुलांच्या कलकलाटाने शाळेला जिवंतपणा येतो. टीचर, टीचर करून एकमेकांची गाऱ्हाणी करणारे, आपलं लक्ष वेधून घेण्यासाठी आपला हात हातात घेणारी, तर कधी पदर ओढणारी ती निरागस लेकरं… रागवलं तरी दुसऱ्या क्षणी सर्व विसरून गोड हसणारी लोभस बालकं… यांच्यात वेळ कसा जातो कळत देखील नाही !!
शाळेच्या मागे असणारे विस्तीर्ण मैदान, मैदानावर परिपाठासाठी सर्व मुले एकत्र येतात. राष्ट्रगीतापासून ते पसायदान पर्यंत त्यांच्या वेगवेगळ्या लीला बघायला मिळतात.
खेळाच्या तासाला तर वेगळीच धमाल असते. ही मुलं छोट्या छोट्या गोष्टीतून किती आनंद मिळवतात नाही का? मुलं शाळेत अभ्यासाबरोबरच कृतीतून, प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवातून बरंच काही शिकत असतात, शिक्षकांनाही विद्यार्थ्यांकडून बरंच काही शिकायला मिळतं.
या शाळेची पूर्णत्वाकडे येत असलेली भव्य इमारत आता लक्ष वेधून घेत आहे.
