Swami Vivekanand Vidyalaya, Raviwar Peth

Mrs.Sita Gopal Lele was greatly inspired by the work of Swami Vivekananda. So, on the occasion of the hundredth birth anniversary of Swamiji, in the year, 1964, Mother established an English medium school at Kurtkoti Shankaracharya Math.Afterwards  it was shifted at Ravivar Peth, Nashik.

The main purpose of establishing this school was to nurture Indian culture and tradition through English medium.Today the institution has turned into a banyan tree!

The legacy of the ideal and disciplined teachings laid down by the founder Mother Lele is still felt in the premises of the school.

As this school has got the legacy of learned teachers as well as meritorious students.Best thing about this institution is that, today this institution is moving forward by the vision of its ex students

१९६४, स्वामी विवेकानंदांचे जन्मशताब्दी वर्ष. स्वामीजींच्या कार्याने भारावून जाऊन कै. मदर उर्फ, सौ. सीता गोपाळ लेले यांनी रविवार पेठ येथे इंग्रजी माध्यमाची शाळा सुरू केली.

आपल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना इंग्रजी माध्यमाचे शिक्षण मिळावे मात्र त्याच वेळी त्यांनी आपल्या भारतीय संस्कृतीची उज्वल परंपराही जोपासावी या हेतूनं स्थापन झालेली नाशिक शहरातील ही तशी जुनी शाळा आजही इमारतीचं मूळ रूप तसचं आहे.

आज संस्थेचं वटवृक्षात रुपांतर झालंय खरं मात्र या वटवृक्षाचं मूळ स्थान म्हणजे रविवार पेठ शाळा !!

संस्थापिका मदर लेले यांनी घालून दिलेल्या आदर्श आणि शिस्तप्रिय शिकवणीचा प्रत्यय अजूनही तिथल्या वास्तूत जाणवत असतो. त्यांच्या संस्कारांची जपणूक करत ही शाळा आपली आगळी ओळख या परिसरात अजूनही ठेवत वाटचाल करतेय.

या शाळेला जसा अभ्यासू शिक्षकांचा वारसा लाभलाय तसाच गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचाही… आज याच शाळेत शिकलेली मुले आपल्या संस्थेची धुरा समर्थपणे सांभाळताय !
